Journey

Ahmed began tutoring in 2018, initially working with GCSE students in Business, Economics, and Computer Science. What started as a way to support students outside the classroom soon developed into a long-term commitment to education. Since then, he has worked with learners across a wide range of levels, from secondary school through to university, focusing especially on Business, Economics, and Management.

Alongside subject tutoring, Ahmed has developed a strong track record in university admissions. He has helped students gain entry to some of the world’s leading universities, such as LSE, Bocconi, Imperial, and UCL. His support spans personal statements, academic development, and interview preparation, with a focus on helping students build compelling and competitive applications.

Outside of Education & Tutoring, Ahmed worked as a Technology Consultant at a global management consultancy. This experience gave him a clear vision of how to prepare students for their post-education career by identifying and bridging the gaps often left by traditional academic pathways, while ensuring they are fully equipped to thrive inside the classroom, exam hall and beyond.

Ahmed graduated from Lancaster University Management School, one of Europe’s leading institutions for business education, with a degree in Business and Management. He went on to complete his postgraduate studies in Data Science at Imperial College London, where he achieved top honours.

Approach

Ahmed’s tutoring approach is grounded in clarity, encouragement, and personalisation. He believes that every student has their own unique set of motivations, learning habits, and long-term goals, and that the most effective tuition supports all three. Whether he is breaking down a difficult concept or helping a student craft a standout university application, he structures each session to ensure that students feel a sense of ownership over their progress.

Through his work on the Extra-Curricular Development Programme, Ahmed also supports students in creating their own academic and personal projects – whether that’s writing research essays, launching personal initiatives, or exploring ideas that genuinely excite them. These experiences not only strengthen university applications but also help students grow as independent thinkers.

What Ahmed finds most rewarding is seeing students grow in confidence – not just in their subjects, but in themselves.

Favourite subject at school

Business was my favourite subject in school as I enjoyed learning about practical concepts that were relevant outside of the classroom. It encouraged me to take a greater interest in real-world events and to reflect on how classroom ideas connected to what was happening around me
